Mark your calendar NOW so you don’t miss our 22^ND Anniversary Gala Event and Fundraiser dinner!  It will be held a little earlier than usual this year— on Saturday, March 29, 2025. 

We are excited to be planning this event and hope you will be able to  participate in the fun.

We have again reserved the beautiful Palos Country Club to host our event.  We’re planning a delicious dinner, great entertainment, and an amazing array of raffle prizes.  Cocktails will be from 6:00 to 6:45 pm, dinner 6:45 to 7:45, entertainment from 8 to about 9:15 and raffle drawings beginning at 9:15. This should let us conclude the evening by approximately 10 pm.

This year’s entertainment will be provided by The Ukelele Moonshiners.  If you have seen them before, you know what a fun group they are—if you haven’t seen them, prepare to be amazed.  Lots of fun is guaranteed when they are involved!

Feel free to invite your family and friends (adults only).  If you have attended previously, please come back.  If you have never attended, or haven’t attended in a while, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a fun evening out while supporting a very worthy cause.

December 3 is Giving Tuesday, an annual global celebration that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  The intent of the event is to shift the focus during the holidays to giving back.   

We appreciate our loyal supporters and hesitate to ask for more help.  However, if you do participate in Giving Tuesday, we hope that you will consider making a donation to the Gene Roman Foundation.  This has once again been our busiest year ever and we are trying to stretch our funds to help as many people as possible.   We have helped so many people we don’t even have room to list them all in this newsletter!  As of this printing, we have assisted 117 individual cancer patients since the beginning of the year.
