We had a great time celebrating our 21^st Anniversary at the beautiful Palos Country Club on April 13. Approximately 150 people joined us for a wonderful evening which included drinks, dinner, dancing, entertainment, and an amazing array of raffle prizes. 

After cocktail hour and a delicious dinner, entertainment and dance music was provided by Aileen and Joe Tirrito.   Over 60 raffle prizes were awarded to end the evening on a happy note, and feedback we’ve received tells us that everyone had a great time.

Our annual Gala Event is our major source of fundraising for the year.  We are happy to report that this year’s event raised $35,630. Thank you to everyone who attended and/or supported our fundraiser.

We thought last year was our busiest year ever—we helped 105 people.  This year, we helped 163 cancer patients as of the end of our fiscal year on March 31.  The one and only reason we have been able to do what we do for over 20 years is because we have amazing supporters who make it all possible. Thank you!! Some of what we’ve done this year is listed in this newsletter.  We didn’t have space to list everyone we’ve helped!  Nearly half a million dollars has been distributed to almost 900 individual cancer patients since our inception.  We are very proud of that!
